Poster presentation day 2.

I did my poster presentation on Friday 1st, February.
I did my best but, I felt I needed to be prepared more, because sometimes I had difficulties explain clearly.
However, all listeners were very kind and helpful, thus, it was OK.
Through this first interview, I learned a lot about how to do an effective interview.
I should be prepared perfectly before the interview and try to arrange the conversation smoothly.
By the way, Chris announced that we will learn how to make a commic using the mac next week, and it seems very interesting!

Poster presentation

Last Friday, we had the first part of poster presentation.
I listened to 4 different persons, and all presentations were very interesting.
Comparing with the first time we had poster presentation in Fall term, I think everybody got used to do it, thus it was very nice presentation.
Everone used effective visual informations, made frequent eye contact and dpoke clearly.
Unfortunately, I couldn't present my poster, thus I will do my best tommorow!

Questions

I dicided to interview about euthanasia for the presenation, and I discussed with Mami and Kanako with my questions for interview.
Here are the list of some questions that I may ask.

1. What is your image of euthanasia?- Where this image came from?
2. Do you agree with euthanasia?- Why or why not?
3. If you are terminally ill, would you like to have euthanasia?- Why or why not?
4. If your family or friends are terminally ill, would you wish them to have euthanasia?- Why or why not?
5. Do you think euthanasia should be legalize?- Why or why not?

Please give me some advices if you have, because I realized that these questions are quite common..

Interview practice

Last week, during the CM class, we practiced some interview skills.
My interviewer was Kodai and I asked him "If you could genetically engineer your child, would you do so?".
His answer was "No".
And he explained me that he thinks that genetically engineer his child is unmoral thing, and no matter how much his child has defects he will love his child.
I was surprised because I had exactly the same opinion as him.
Anyway it was interesting to do some practice like this class!

My interest in bioethics

I have one topic "euthanasia" which I'm interested in bioethics, therefore I'm going to write about this.
Firstly, for the people who doesn't know the meaning of euthanasia, here is the definition:"Euthanasia is the practice of voluntarily having a medically-assisted death"(Wikipedia).
Secondly, I haven't research a lot about this topic, but here is my opinion.
For the people who suffers very much by the sickness, and if there is no hope to getting better, euthanasia is a good solution.
However there are many oposit opinion, thus I'm going to research about it.
Finally, I'm going to reserach about this topic and decide if I would like to make presentation about it or not.
